Google has some really nifty applications, including google docs and google calendars. I wanted a way to sync my google calendar with my Nokia N82 cellphone, which usually shows the day’s tasks on the main display making it really easy and useful.

After some searching I found there is a way to sync your exchange calendar with your phone with “Mail for Exchange” application, which well is nice except we do not make use of exchange at work and I don’t want to run my own server with that. Lucky for me I found another blogger who found a way, by making use of NuevaSync.

I have set this up and it is working almost 100%, it can’t sync mail yet, but the calendar part works pretty great. I just wish I could set up events on google calendar as tasks, since the N82 doesn’t show events on the main display but tasks it would.

Anyways some more experimenting and I might be able to make it work a little bit better.
